The Mortmain Fabric Inspiration

In our humble opinion, The Mortmain is a really versatile dress pattern which works in a variety of colours and prints. Don’t just take our word for it - just look at some from around the web for proof! You can go girly with a dainty print, like Abi, channel Mary’s chic Mortmain with muted fabrics, or be daring with a bold pattern like Roisin. Whatever you do, The Mortmain is flexible enough to truly be made your own.

Shopping for fabric is endlessly satisfying and if you haven’t already got a bunch waiting in your stash to be used (we know that we have!) then we’ve rounded up some of our favourite fabrics that we think would look ace made up into The Mortmain. As always, we recommend you request a swatch of any of these fabrics to ensure it’s what you’re after before you order it!
