And the winners are…
We had so many entries for our little competition to win The Mortmain and The Tallis patterns, and so many of you also said kind words which was lovely. What a nice lot you all are!
But now, time has come to pick the winners! If you remember, we have two of each pattern to giveaway to whoever could tell us which novels (plus authors) our patterns are named after.
The Mortmain is taken from the dreamy I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith. Wonderfully eccentric, we both read this as teenagers and have revisited it again and again. Oh, to live in a crumbling castle!
The Tallis (our collar pattern) is a nod to the fabulous Atonement by Ian McEwan. Absolutely beautiful but tragic, this is a book that we both adore. Of course, the film is also excellent, made all the better by such stunning costumes - that green dress!
Congratulations to our winners! Laura Hojnacke and Joanne RoseDahlia have won The Mortmain, and Gemma Tappenden and Kim Hincks have won The Tallis!
We’ll be in touch to ask for your addresses and soon the patterns will be winging their way to you. Thank you again for all your answers. For those who entered but weren’t lucky, if you check your email inboxes there might be a little something in there for you…
